Bed Bug Facts

Now Bed bugs are becoming very popular in our lives. It is important to know what they look like, what they feed on and were to look for them.  So here are some important Bed Bug facts that every one should know.

How do bed bugs the look like? Bed bugs are about 3/16 of an inch Reddish Black, with lines across its body, younger bed bugs can almost be invisible to the naked eye.

What do bed bugs feed on? Bed bugs feed only on blood, prefer human blood over other species.  They can also feed on reptiles. Both females and males feed on blood. Bed bugs can live over 12 months with out a single meal.  Bed bugs leave residues even wile they are feeding.

How do they reproduce? A single female bed bug can have up to 500 eggs in her life.  Bed bugs are very hard to see, they are about 1/32 of an inch.  The female produces a substance that allow her to stick the eggs in hidden areas.

Were and how can I find Bed bugs? Bed bugs live were we live, they can be found in bed frames, mattress, carpet, baseboards, hanged picture frames, electricity outlets, windows, etc just about any were they can crawl in to.

Do Bed bugs bite? Some people can react to bed bug bites, and others can have no reaction. There has not been any prof that bed bugs can spread disease.
